Zika virus doesn't exist in highlands, only in tropical and hot areas.

Quito-Ecuador, Loja City and Vilcabamba (your secure trip coming) are in the mountains where there is no Yellow Fever, Zika or some similar virus... then, if you are coming to our Healing Retreat Center you are in safe!

The only place where the Zika virus has affected few people is on the coast, even not in the jungle of Ecuador where Shamans keep away all diseases using their “Ayahuasca” and power plants.

The scare has struck hardest in Brazil, which hosts the summer Olympic Games in August.

It is one of 22 territories that the United States has warned pregnant women not to visit because of the Zika risk.

The scare came as many people prepared to travel to and around Brazil for the February carnival – not to mention months before visitors from around the world will come for the Olympics.

However, then organising committee for the Games said it hopes the slightly cooler, dryer weather in August will ease the problem by curbing the breeding of the mosquitos.
